Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff and quiet location. No amenities but close to enough to town and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip

Ive gone to this place multiple times! It is a great place to stay at for a low rate. Your privacy is respected, and if any issues arise they quickly come and help fix the problem (if any). I recommend this place, if you are traveling for business or as a small family. A quick stop and rest .

For a place close to everything this is it! Rooms were clean easy parking. I thought it was a little expensive but considering the Apple Festival, changing of the leaves and being on a weekend..... The management was awesome! We had check out and noticed we left some Apple Cider in the fridge. We went back within the hour and the lady had the door crack and told us it's still there go in and grab it. I would probably stay here again if I was in the area.

We stayed at this hotel last minute, for 4 days. The location is awesome and the rooms were sparklingly clean. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were nice! It seems to be a small, family owned business and I found it quite charming.

We love older hotels and the people who keep them going. While there are newer and more modern places to stay in the area let me tell you we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend 3 days at While visiting this area. Just 5 minutes from downtown and the shops and many places to eat, with easy access to the roads travel to other cities and sights in the area . After reading some of the reviews we knew that we had to visit this piece of Americana. Our room was spotless! Not a piece of lint or dirt was to be found anywhere, nothing, zero, zilch! All hard surfaces were clean with not even a finger print to be found on anything, the doors and windows were spotless. The mini fridge and the microwave were both spotless and worked perfectly. Our room had plenty of lighting and smelled as clean as a hospital room. This motel is just mear minutes from downtown yet very quiet. We did see something we have never seen at any hotel/ motel in over 50 years of traveling, Wednesday afternoon a young man was cleaning the outside of the windows, doors, knobs and yes the door frames . Another person was cleaning the parking lot as well . Our room was nicely furnished with new furniture ( still had new smell)! Beds were very comfortable and spotlessly clean, no nothing on the beds! While we were out visiting house keeping would come by to clean the room bring clean dry bath towels . So if you want a great room at an older but really clean motel here's your place. The people who run this place are so nice and polite, very helpful. If we had one thing that could be a negative remark it would be that for some reason there was not hot water at 4am [ timer]? but by 5 there was plenty of hot water for everyone. We're planning a return trip this fall and are planning to reserve a room at this hotel . Almost forgot there is wifi and coffee in the room but no breakfast bar which is no big deal because there are many places to have breakfast 5 minutes away. We give this gem in the rough a 10!!!

We had a great stay here in our honeymoon! We had only planned to stay one night, but the rooms were so clean and cozy that we decided to stay a second night! The owners are very kind, the showers are nice, and the location is very convenient!

This hotel is a great place to stay, I've stayed for more than a week. And I love the place, it's very clean. I haven't found a single bug other than maybe a fly, which is not the managements fault. The staff here are so sweet, they do a great job at cleaning the rooms. The beds are always well made, everything's organized. No they do not go through your stuff when you are gone, they may move it out of the way to clean but they don't take anything or do anything wrong. Appreciate that the TV looks like a real TV and isn't colored purple or anything. Nothing here is broken, it all looks really clean and nice. There is space outside to walk around, you don't get bothered by people, it's a really homey place, they don't serve breakfast but I don't mind that, I know other people would. They have a coke machine which I love. I would 100% recommend the place, and id love to stay again.

If you’re looking for a nice, clean room at a good price this is it. I stay here 1-2 times every year. The rooms were remodeled a few years ago. They are very nice. Some reviews say the owners aren’t friendly. At first maybe not but I wasn’t extra friendly either. After a few days seeing them we were friendlier. Isn’t that normal? As for being thieves, I left a very nice item in my room for 3 days and it wasn’t touched. I have recommended this hotel to family members who needed a nice room at a lower price. These low reviews have me confused. Super nice people at the front desk, very accommodating, rooms were very clean, it doesn’t look run down or ghetto. Nice location before my partner goes off to hike on the Appalachian Trail. Would recommend.

We stayed here in December 2025 for our anniversary it was a very clean room the management staff was very friendly and accommodating anything that you we needed I would recommend this place to anyone I will definitely stay here again
